Job Instruction Sheets
Job Instruction Sheets are reference and/or training tools to be used in conjunction with other Standard Work documents and Policies. Job Instruction Sheets should always point back to its corresponding Standard Work. A Job Instruction Sheet is a simple breakdown of steps for reference, easy to understand, complete and may include visuals. They clarify how to perform assignments and provide teams with a precise description of the steps required to perform a task. Job Instruction Sheets are a replacement for Desk Aids and can be found in The PORT under the “Standard Work” tab. They may be developed by any administration within the DCSS, and all updates and revisions are made by the authoring administration.
